Inside: 4 tools I use before launching anything
Here’s the truth:
Most failed launches don’t fail because of the idea.
They fail because the founder didn’t validate, track, or position it right before pressing “go live.”
Over the years, I’ve built a short stack of tools I run every single launch through — whether it’s a client campaign, a side project, or even a newsletter experiment like this one.
Here are 4 you should add to your toolkit:
1. Google Trends
👉 Use case: Before spending a dollar on ads or production, I check search demand. It helps me see if interest is growing, stable, or declining. A simple 5-minute search can tell you if you’re building into momentum — or fighting against it.
2. Google Forms
👉 Use case: I validate with real people. Before launch, I send out a short 3–5 question survey to my target audience. It reveals what people actually want (and how they phrase it), which later feeds into my messaging.
3. SparkToro
👉 Use case: Audience intelligence. Instead of guessing where my audience hangs out, I use SparkToro to see what podcasts they listen to, what sites they read, and what hashtags they use. This shortcut saves weeks of trial and error.
4. Notion (Launch Database)
👉 Use case: Organization is underrated. Every launch lives inside a Notion board: tasks, deadlines, assets, and messaging. Without it, you’re juggling in your head — which is how most great ideas die.
Why this matters
You don’t need a 20-tool tech stack to launch successfully.
But you do need the right ones — the ones that force you to validate, listen, and stay organized.
If you add even one of these into your process, you’ll be ahead of most teams who jump straight into “go mode” without a safety net.
👉 If you found this useful, share this edition with one friend or colleague who’s about to launch something.
It might just save them from a painful flop.
